The Lalique story begins, naturally, with René Lalique himself. From his childhood in Aÿ-en-Champagne to an apprenticeship with jeweller Louis Aucoc and studies in Paris and England, his early years inspired the founding of his eponymous brand in 1888. Echoing the variety of its founder’s formative experiences, the House is multidisciplinary, offering luxury crystal glass across six areas. Decorative items like Lalique fish and Lalique vases are world-renowned, while candles and perfumes like Encre Noire prove the House’s olfactory prowess. Interior design, jewellery, art and hospitality complete the line-up, with every design, from Lalique glassware to Lalique bowls, handcrafted in Alsace and signed with the brand’s trademark.
