Boucheron was Place Vendôme’s first jewellery maison, opened by Frédéric Boucheron beneath the arcades of Paris’ Palais Royal in 1858. Today, Boucheron is renowned for beautifully bold, elegant fine jewellery and watches characterised by distinctive stones and a free-spirited aesthetic. Counting the Maharaja of Patiala and Edith Piaf among its illustrious clientele of the past, the Maison’s inclination towards perfect proportions and abstract forms has contributed to its enduring popularity. More than 50 years since its launch, the Serpent Bohème remains a key emblem – symbolising protection and eternity – while the Quatre collection combines materials and textures that continue to reinterpret iconic codes via Boucheron rings, necklaces and bracelets.

Drawing on founder Frédéric Boucheron’s adoration of architecture, the Quatre collection is defined by four rings. A graphic homage to quartets, the range’s distinctive motifs – Grosgrain, Line of Diamonds, Double Godron and Clou de Paris – are mixed and matched across precious jewels. Whether worn stacked or solo, each piece yields the power to be at once simple and spectacular, classic and contemporary.

Maison Boucheron’s workshop has been based at its Place Vendôme hôtel particulier since 1893 – a creative haven above the bustle of Paris’ premier arrondissement. Innovation drives each and every artisan. Techniques such as the mosaic, mirror and airy settings were all invented in-house, as well as the clasp-free Point d’Interrogation necklace, created by Frédéric Boucheron himself.
