You’ll decide your own personal password, which is known only by Harrods Safe Deposit personnel, and you will have your own unique key.

Application
An application for a Harrods Safe Deposit box typically takes up to 5 working days to be approved. You must provide proof of identity in person by presenting a valid passport (with Visa if applicable) plus an original official document confirming your name and current address (a utility bill, bank or credit-card statement, that is less than three months old).
Mobile phone bills, store-card statements or final reminder statements will not be accepted.
There is one unique key for each safe; the key will always remain in your possession and must be returned at the end of the agreement. A refundable deposit of £200 is payable for the key. The agreement is not closed until the key is returned.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I apply?
All applications must be made in person at the Safe Deposit, located on the Ground Floor. A paper application will need to be completed in person. When applying you will be required to provide a valid proof of ID and a valid proof of address no older than three months. Once the application has been completed, and ID and address verification has been provided, the application will then be submitted for approval. The approval process can take up to five working days.
What identification do I need to apply for a Safe Deposit box?
To apply for a Safe Deposit box you must provide one of the following forms of identification:
1) Photographic identification such as a current valid passport or national identity card and visa/ residence permit if applicable.
2) Proof of address which confirms the applicant’s name and address such as a utility bill, a bank or credit-card statement, or a landline telephone bill. All documents must be original documents (online documents are not valid proof of address) and must be less than three months old on the date of application.
How much does this service cost?
All new Safe Deposit boxes are subject to a refundable key deposit of £200, which will be refunded upon surrender of the box and return of the original key. The cost of the service will depend upon the size of the Safe Deposit box you hold with us.
