Woman wearing diamond necklace and diamond ring

Boodles

Boodles – established over two centuries ago – enjoys an illustrious reputation based on innovative design and quality craftsmanship. Founded as Boodle and Dunthorne in 1798, the family-run fine jewellery house specialises in diamonds and epitomises the best of British, it having created items of historic note including a silver stand for Queen Elizabeth’s 1947 wedding cake. Treasurable collections include the irresistibly ladylike Blossom, contemporary Raindance and classic The Knot, while jewellery box delights range from delicately sparkling Boodles necklaces and bracelets to earrings and diamond-dotted stacking rings in gold and platinum. Classic and contemporary all at once, Boodles can be relied upon for everything from engagement rings to cocktail pieces featuring remarkable stones and quirky settings. To top it all off, the House won British Luxury Brand of the Year in Walpole's 2024 British Luxury Awards.

Six generations of the Wainwright family have steered Boodles through more than two centuries of Royal commissions, international tennis tournaments, and the world’s most exquisite diamonds and stones. Established in Liverpool at the tail end of the 18th Century, this British fine jewellery icon boasts a rich legacy that the modern Wainwrights view as theirs to protect.

Recognisable by their 62 facets, modern Ashoka® diamonds – named after Emperor Ashoka the Great of India’s ancient Maurya dynasty – are inspired by a single, flawless gemstone of 41.37 carats. Today, the rare design, reignited by diamond dealer William Goldberg, can be applied to less than two per cent of mined diamonds. Boodles is the only British jeweller to offer Ashoka® diamonds.
